Drawings
In this series of work, I returned to drawing media, in an exploration of 2- and 3-dimensional space.

Spatial Relations
From 2011–2012 I did series of drawings — mostly graphite, but with some charcoal and conté crayon mixed in, on paper (BFK Rives tan and gray) — which I called Spatial Relations. This was an exploration of form, taking my typical collage media and imagery into new spaces, replacing collage material entirely in favor of drawing media. As in all my work, I sought to join disparate elements (media, imagery, positive and negative space) in a unified whole. The subject matter — Egyptian sculpture, geometry and birds — is a collection of items that interest me on formal and conceptual levels. I don't prescribe any specific interpretation to these works, but encourage viewers to make their own connections.
In 2012 I had two solo exhibits with this work, one in Gallery East at USU Eastern, in Price, and one at the Covey Center in Provo.
